Working smoke and carbon monoxide alarms save lives, but they only work if they're fitted in the right places and tested. Armagh Handyman Services fits battery-powered smoke, heat and CO alarms in homes and rental properties across Armagh.
We fit sealed-battery alarms that don't need wiring, positioned according to the manufacturer's guidance — on each level, in hallways and landings, and near fuel-burning appliances for CO alarms. Mains-wired and interlinked systems that need wiring are referred to a qualified electrician.

Why choose a local Armagh handyman?
Armagh Handyman Services is run by Niall, based at Drumman Heights in Armagh. Because we're local, travel times are short, it's easy to arrange a visit that suits you and, if anything needs looking at afterwards, we're not far away. We rely on word of mouth around Armagh, so every job is done carefully and the work area is left tidy.
You'll deal with the same person from the first phone call to the finished job — no call centres and no hand-offs. Quotes are free and clear, and if a job is better suited to a specialist trade we'll tell you honestly. Larger electrical and all gas work is always referred to qualified, registered trades.
Quotes and booking
Every smoke & co alarm fitting job is quoted free of charge before any work starts, so you know exactly where you stand. The easiest way is to call Niall on 077 3909 9584; if he's on a job, send a text and he'll get back to you. Photos or a product link help with an accurate quote, and if you have other small jobs, mention them too — they can often be done on the same visit.
